How to Apply
INFORMATION ABOUT HOW TO APPLY
1. In order to participate in our programs, students must have a minimum of 2.5 GPA. For high school students we required 2 years of Spanish (15 years old).
2. Make sure to have your Study Abroad Office complete the Academic Credits Section on the application to confirm that you have Pre Approval
3. Complete the application form and housing form on line.
4. Send your payment before the due date.

CREDITS
The Costa Rican Cultural Center recommends that students start the credit’s pre approval process before coming to Costa Rica with their schools. Our Program will send all the course description and syllabi to each school to help students to get this pre approval.

In order to transfer credits, the CRCC will send an official transcript issued by UMCA to each University after completion of their program. Students receive a copy of the transcript as well.

MEDICAL INSURANCE
Medical Insurance is provided for the official period of the program. Contact us for more detailed information about coverage.
