The volcano Arenal is located 4 hours away from San Jose, in the community of La Fortuna, which is well known for their dairy products for exportation and the beautiful landscape of the village.

The volcanic hot springs at Baldi are naturally heated and are located in a strategic place where people can see the glowing hot boulders descend from the volcano while taking a relaxing bath in the mineral water. After relaxing, one can take a hike down to La Fortuna Waterfall.

The powerful water falling more than 150 feet from the rainforest is refreshing and an incredible sight. Other activities to choose from include canopy tours, riverboat tours, hiking in nearby Venado Caves, fishing in Arenal lake and exploring Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge.
